What is the capacity of the property for events?

Accepted Answer

We recommend a maximum of 130 guests for a seated function. Cocktail functions above this number are welcomed however require additional approvals.

With that being said we've hosted 20 guests for an intimate seated dinner in the barn before and it felt absolutely perfect.

Question 2

Are we able to include our own pets in the day?

Accepted Answer

Pets are welcomed for ceremonies and photos. We do have a few guidelines we need to put in place to ensure their safety and we generally prefer they must depart prior to dinner service and night fall.

Question 3

How do guests get to the property?

Accepted Answer

We utilise coach services to transport all guests from Airlie Beach. Typically we'll set 3-4 pick up locations through Airlie, Cannonvale and Proserpine. If you're attending a wedding and have questions around the bus service I recommend connecting with the couple directly as these pick up points vary for each wedding.

We have a limited number of car parks on site and are council restricted around the number of cars that are permitted to attend an event here. If you have a need to drive rather than utilise the bus service please ensure you reserve one of these spaces in advance.

Do we need to organise our own drinks and bar staff?

Accepted Answer

All packages include bar staff and acrylic glassware. As a licensed venue we have a good range of drinks available for you to include in your bar tab. We customise the bar service for every wedding and will help you with all those aspects through your planning meetings. BYO is not permitted.

Question 5

Is someone from The Creek team there to assist us on the day?

Accepted Answer

Included in all packages at The Creek is an On the Day Coordinator whose job it is to ensure the day runs smoothly and effortlessly from start to finish. You'll also have full planning support from the time of booking working through detailed event orders, a clear timeline, communicating with your suppliers and assisting with all your questions big or small along the way.

What time does our function need to conclude?

For our Signature Weddings (Friday and Saturday) all music and bar services must conclude by 11.00pm with all guests required to depart prior to 11.30pm.

Micro Weddings (offered Mon-Thurs) must conclude by 9pm with all guests required to depart prior to 9.30pm.

Question 7

What time do ceremonies commence?

Accepted Answer

Most weddings commences between 2 and 4pm. The exact ceremony time is something the couple will confirm in their planning and is decided with consideration to the sunset hours, order of proceedings and temperatures at that time of year. We recommend buses and all guests arrive 30minutes before the scheduled ceremony time.
